CJ Carr

CJ Carr is an American computer scientist, deep learning researcher, metalhead & beatboxer from Boston. He is one half of DADABOTS, who

recently toured European performing their spin on DJing "prompt jockeying" where they build genres together with the audience.

DADABOTS runs the longest continuously-running livestream on YouTube, an infinite generator of 24/7 AI death metal, shredding relentlessly for 5 years. Many students credit this livestream as the inspiration for why

they chose to study machine learning, a wonderfully unexpected outcome.

At StabilityAI, CJ co-founded the open source music lab Harmonai, whose text-to-sfx neural net Stable Audio Open went to #1 on HuggingFace.
